Personality:

• Acts cold towards people she hardly knows, is actually really caring and loving once she warms up to you. But is really awkward so she tends to avoid anything that involves socializing. Difficult for her to express her feelings/emotions. Only way she can really express it, is most likely through writing it. Terrible flirt, Ryne tried to hook her up once, told her to just relax and use a pick up line. Scared the poor soul. Instantly warm and motherly to children, even if they are in their early teens. She tends to be reserved and speak only when she really needs to.

Background:

• Juliet was born into a family of demon hunters, Mr and Mrs. Blanc were famous demon hunters at the time and trained her from a very young age. Turning eight, they wanted to take her out for one of their missions. She was left behind some bushes to peek through and watch them kill it. However, there was more than one and they took the shape of a human, finding Juliet and using her as a shield. Her parents managed to save her from it but didn’t realize the demon had hopped from the other body to Juliets.

• Her father risked his life to save hers, thinking that all had passed. But part of the demon took refuge in her right eye. It would hurt from time to time as she grew up but thought it was just stress. After turning sixteen, her parents had already passed away and she had become an adult. Juliet went on a mission by herself and was badly wounded, her eye reacted and slowly the sclera that was white, turned black and her eyes both turning red,  sucked in the demon that she was fighting. She passed out from shock and how much energy it drained from her. Waking up hours later she tried to dig out her eye, unfortunately, the blade just hovered a few centimeters away from her iris and was deflected away.

• At this point she didn’t know what else to do but go to the nearby temple and asked them to help her, purify her of what resided in her body. They help her, only to become frightened of her and lock her away in the mountains behind the temple. She was called a demon a lot by the head monk. They carved markings into her body, cut off limbs, beat her, and starved her. She didn’t die. When that didn’t work, they forcibly, well more like tried, to cut out her eye, but that ultimately did nothing and left a deep scar. When she had enough strength, she escaped and went back to her old home, which was burnt down. Scavenging for food and water, she kept a low profile for a few hundred years. Wore an eye patch and made sure to have very little contact with people unless she needed to.

• Being locked up with the monks caused her to have trust issues, humans especially. Years passed again, on a mission she meant a wolf demon, Ryne. He was super bubbly and very clingy (still is) but also friendly. One night after another mission, he opened up and talked about how his mother wanted him to marry him off to a rich wolf family to gain more attention and well, money. Ran away to the human world. He helped her out too, she opened up about what happened in her younger days and from then on were friends, he admires her and sees her as his older sister.

• A new era started, but people still came to her if they wanted something to be done. She still hunts demons on her own, but also earns money doing jobs on the side. She came across a town that was raided and was now in flames. She rummaged through some of the houses that still looked fine to go in. Found a young boy named Lori and took care of him. He told her there was a raid and they set the town on fire. Juliet treated him as a little brother since she was an only child. However, he only lived for a year. At this point in her life, Juliet didn’t keep track how old she was and who she made enemies with. A demon was after her, killed Lori.

• Of course, she was sad and angry. She managed to inflict a large amount of  damage and let her eye absorb it, but the demon was too strong even in a weakened state. She’s never absorbed one this strong before and felt her body kind of shutdown and another side comes out. Juliet no longer had control over her body, she was still semi conscious and could see what she was doing. When she reached this point, she killed anything that moved within her line of vision. She even took a swing at Ryne once.

• After this happened a few times (over the course of a few hundred years), she came up with various plans with Ryne to help keep her in check. She found out the most effective one, was to forcibly pinned her and inflict massive amounts of pain. Something that would snap her out of the state she was in. Ryne, of course is the one to do this with the spells she had come up with, even though he doesn’t want to hurt her, he does to help her. After that, she rest for a couple of days and eats like there is no tomorrow.

• Trying to figure out how to develop a charm or trinket to let her see how strong a demon is to be more careful. Doesn’t want to make Ryne hurt her all the time.

• Meets Haru a little after the death of her brother. Also thinks he is just a normal kid, but is actually a demon lord. (I think he kept his presence hidden ;;; I can’t remember)

• Eventually finds out he a demon but not a demon LORD.
